PR and Marketing Manager

Aixa Acevedo was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, but raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Since a little girl, Aixa has always had a passion for acting and the film industry, specifically the Hispanic film industry. She has taken acting classes at The Puerto Rican Traveling theatre in NYC under the direction of Miriam Colon and starred in a student film.

Aixa’s background is in advertising, marketing and public relations. She has provided clients with marketing and advertising initiatives including writing and developing collateral and individual brand web sites, as well as media planning and buying (print, radio and television). She currently works with Florida’s Blood Centers as a Donor Development Coordinator, where she coordinates all the marketing efforts for all mobile blood drives in Osceola County.

Aixa has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Advertising and Public Relations from University of Central Florida. She is a proud member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is extremely excited to be part of the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival.
