Technical Director

CJ Conklin serves for the second year as the Technical Director of the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival. CJ has come from the ranks of floor technician and has held multiple roles in the in-house hotel support roles, as a technician with Swank Audio Visuals, where he was factory trained on several high end gears from Extron And Folsom to High End lighting.

From Swank he became the Technical Director for Southern Audio Visual for a local hotel supporting Fortune 500 companies. From Technical Director he became Director of Audio Visual Services and Sales of 5 Star Resorts. Several years later he then was handpicked to become Director of Audio Visual Services at Shingle Creek Resort which currently has the largest column free ballroom in the nation.

Some of the awards received include 2007 Allie Award Winner for Best Special Effect, 2007 Allie Award Nominee for Best Logistical Achievement in a Technical Production, 2007 Allie Award Nominee for Best Audiovisual Design, 2006 Allie Award Winner for Best Audiovisual Produ ction

2005 Allie Award Winner for Best Audiovisual Design, and 2005 Allie Award Nominee for Best Lighting Design.
