Production & Operations Manager

Cristina, the newest member of the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival’s Staff, is a graduate of the University Of Miami School Of Communication where she obtained two concurrent Bachelor’s Degrees essentially double majoring in both Media Management and Theater. During her education Cristina participated in the University’s only televised Hispanic news show titled Uni-Miami, where Cristina was employed as a Special Edition Reporter, Main Story Reporter, Host/Presenter, Floor Manager, and Computer Graphics Coordinator. Cristina eventually climbed the ranks finalizing her Senior Year at the University as Executive Producer of the show. She also shared her time with other students as an actor in student Films and Plays.

Off Campus, Cristina delved into Internships with The Yari Film group, Telemundo, and finally Todobebe, where she was employed as a Segment Producer, and Task and Guest Coordinator. During that time, she also worked as part of the Production Crew for Univision during the award shows, Premios Juventud and Premio Lo Nuestro.

Upon graduation, Cristina was hired by Todobebe and was quickly appointed to Executive Assistant to the Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of Business Development. Cristina also developed, as an Executive Producer, Production Coordinator, and Co-Director, a locally televised cooking show titled, “Cocinando con Don Davis,” which earned her the honor of being one of the youngest television producers in Miami.

Cristina is of French and Spanish descent, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is a steadfast patron of the Arts, loving both its creation and its reproduction. With a soft spot for Film and Acting, Cristina is a strong proponent of the Independent Film Industry. She joined our ranks as a Festival Volunteer, and her dedication to the success of our program had earned her the title of Production and Operations Manager.
