Based on a True Story… The Cabin is the place where a family’s murder becomes another story told by many for years until one day Blanca, the writer of the book "La Casona de los Misterios", learns of patient that resides at a local Mental Hospital, one who relates similar encounters about the same murders that took place in the late1940's. 

As the investigation unleashes, Blanca comes to find there is much more than stories told.  The past is coming back to show that what had happened years back in the late 1940's had a similar relation to the murders that had happened 10 years prior to the present.   The story evolves around the past of spiritual beings that haunts patients as strange appearances from the past go after those who seek further into the real happenings of these "So called" Old Stories of Murders at the Cabin. 

As the writer she goes back into time is able to unwind what happened 10 years prior to Gina's family's death.  The Cabin haunts Gina's daughter, Melanie, who wonders around surrounding areas to the forest at the Cabin where her brother and sister are able to experience strange forces taking over their family.  The movie goes back in time to reveal the murder encounters of the killer.  As the story progresses everyone is able to find out that the killer and his assistant spirits still hold the power to kill, haunt, and murder anyone who comes in contact with the places where once killings were done and continues to occur generation after generation.

Today, a reporter, to save her career, goes on a deep investigation to discover what lies beneath the mystery of the family’s death. She enters The Cabin… One man, one camera, a microphone, and her voice is all she has to complete a full story and make it out of the house alive.
