TUMACO PACIFICO
still
Daily life in an underdeveloped and overpopulated city that has been struck by a tsunami of violence. Inhabited mainly by Afro-Colombians, thousands live in houses standing on stilts over the ocean, with no proper water or sanitation systems. Tumaco natives Junior, Carmen Julia, Doña Eduarda and Don Carlos, share their life stories and their most profound reflections, revealing the struggles to survive in an endangered environment. Absurd and beautiful at same time, a city growing over an ocean full of trash.
